Spring Portfolio Show to Shine Spotlight on Vancouvers Newest Art ...

The Visual College of Art and Design of Vancouver will showcase the work of its most recent graduates at the upcoming Portfolio Show on April 12, 2012. Grads from the Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, 3D Modeling Animation, Marketing and Merchandising for Fashion, and Web Design programs will take over the former Boneta space at 1 West Cordova Street in Gastown for VCADs largest portfolio show to date.

With works ranging from fashion collections to animated shorts, VCADs portfolio show is an excellent opportunity for employers to check out fresh new talent ready to make a mark on Vancouvers art and design industry. The evening is also the perfect chance for prospective students to learn how VCAD can help prepare them for art and design careers. Attendees will be able to ask instructors about VCAD?s industry-leading programs, meet members of Vancouver?s art and design community, and talk to grads about how they can also launch a career in the creative arts!

Emphasizing focused and specialized training on the latest tools, techniques, and technology used by professionals in the field, all VCAD diploma programs are designed to ensure graduates are prepared to meet the demands of their chosen industries.

Doors open at 4:00pm for employers and industry insiders. Family, friends and the general public are welcome from 6:00pm onward.
