Question by luv.topaint: Is a special Ed teacher required to rotate learning material for muli age classes?
When a juvenile attends a multi age class for 3 years should they have new material every year? Are the teachers required to do this? My juvenile has the same work every year. Maine state law says that Permitted Responsibilities of a teacher ?Is to introduce new learning preplanned in collaboration with the classroom teacher or approprioate content specialist.? Am I understanding this correctly? Does new learning mean they should teach new material year to year?

I teach special education preschool in AZ and I have consequentlyme of my juvenileren for up to three years. This is my second year teaching and I have a lot of the same juvenileren as last year. It is not required for us to alert our lesson plans every year nonetheless I do for the kids and parents. I don?t intend to my juvenileren to have to sit in term of the same thing more than once consequently what I did last year will not be in my plans this year.

Try talking to your juvenile?s teacher about the material that your juvenile is getting and ask her if it is a possibility for them to get consequentlymething different. If not, talk to the principal and alert him or her to what is going on and maybe you can get a different teacher. The juvenile?s placement should be APPROPRIATE (as stated in the IEP) and if they are not learning new things every year I think you could attest that.
